A Brief Excerpt from 1959's Brick Bronson and The Commie Submarine by Stoney M. Badess
Timmy was getting worried. His heroic friend had yet to leave his room.
“Is everything okay in there, Mr. Bronson?” he shouted through Brick’s door.
There was no response, but he thought he heard the sound of someone crying. Afraid of what he might find, he cautiously opened the unlocked door and saw the famous bronzed adventurer standing tearfully over the body of a facially mutilated woman, still holding an empty glass jar in his hand.
“Why does this keep happening to me?” Brick sobbed angrily. “I don’t even know who this woman is or where this acid came from!”
