A Brief Excerpt From 1955's Brick Bronson and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police by Stoney M. Badess
“Mr. Bronson, is it just me or have you been in a bad mood since we got here?”
“It’s not you, Timmy,” answered Brick.
“What’s wrong?”
“I just hate this country, my little friend, and all of the stupid people who live in it.”
“But Canada seems so nice.”
“Exactly! It’s like going to a country whose entire population is composed of my Aunt Betty. It’s fun for an hour, but then you just want to start wailing on the bitch.”
“Gee, Mr. Bronson, is that why you’re banned from Bronson family reunions?”
“That and some other things,” Brick admitted.
