A Brief Excerpt From 1962’s Brick Bronson and the Cuban Predicament by Stoney M. Badess
“You gotta put the gun down, Mr. Bronson!” Timmy pleaded to his mentor. “This isn’t our mission!”
“No me mate por favor!” Castro pleaded abjectly as the barrel of Brick’s gun stood just inches away from the back of his head.
“Silencio!” Brick ordered both of them. “For the good of the world I have to do this! This commie cannot live!”
“But Mr. Bronson if you kill him you’ll only empower the same mobsters who killed your best friend!”
Brick’s eyes filled with tears and he slowly lowered his gun.
“Damn you Timmy,” he sobbed. “Damn you to Hell!”
